**About the role** We're looking for a UX designer who ships. You'll own design end-to-end — research, flows, wireframes, polished UI — for products used by real customers every day. We want someone who treats modern AI tools as part of their core workflow, not a gimmick: using them to move faster on research synthesis, prototyping, and content, while applying their own judgment on what actually serves the user. **What you'll do** - Own the task: understand the customer problem, map the journey, prototype, test, and hand off production-ready specs. - Use AI tools (Figma AI, Claude/GPT-class assistants, generative prototyping and research-synthesis tools) to compress iteration time — and know when not to trust their output. - Write and shape product content: microcopy, empty states, onboarding — clear words are part of the design, and they must serve the customer's need, not the feature list. - Turn ambiguous, real-world customer needs into simple flows; simplify relentlessly. - Work directly with engineers, review the built product against the design, and care about what actually ships. - Contribute to and maintain the design system so quality scales beyond your own screens. - Work 1-1 with the lead in regular working sessions — sketching, challenging, and deciding product direction together; your input shapes the roadmap, not just the mockups. **Compensation**: discussed individually and agreed with the selected candidate — we pay for capability, not the band.
