We're the AI commerce agent for prestige beauty and luxury fashion. Tatcha runs on us (11.4% revenue contribution, 3x conversion, 38% AOV lift). Victoria Beckham runs on us (10% revenue lift, 20% AOV uplift). Paula's Choice, K18, Commando, ettitude, and a growing roster of premium brands run on us. $XM ARR in a short span and now we're scaling the product. We're rewriting commerce for the agentic era. We need a designer who can see that future and draw it. The role You will own product design across three surfaces, each one consequential. The merchant dashboard. This is where our customers live. They use it to control their AI, see what it's doing, and understand the revenue it's generating. Today's dashboards in this category are spreadsheets with branding. Ours needs to be a cockpit. Every screen should answer two questions: is the AI working, and how do I make it work harder. The dashboard is how we communicate value back to customers and how we put real control in their hands. It is the product that lets one operator run a billion-dollar store. Next-generation shopping experiences. The conversational concierge, the agentic checkout, the AEO surfaces, the new shopping primitives that do not have names yet. Millions of shoppers see this work on the world's most premium brand sites. Visual taste is not optional. Neither is shipping fast. Brand and marketing surfaces. Alhena.ai itself, the site investors and prospects judge us on. The category we are building does not exist yet, and how we present it shapes how the market understands it. You will work directly with the CEO, CTO, and engineering. No design team to hide behind. You will ship every week.

What you'll do

• Design end to end, from problem framing to pixel-perfect handoff
• Define the visual and interaction language for agentic commerce, a category without settled patterns
• Translate AI complexity (multi-agent orchestration, model routing, agent guardrails, AEO posture) into surfaces that feel obvious to a non-technical merchant
• Make the dashboard tell a revenue story. Customers should open Alhena and immediately feel where the wins are and where the next ones come from
• Build and maintain a design system that scales across luxury brand contexts. Every brand we serve has its own identity, and our agent has to live inside all of them without breaking either
• Bring AI into your daily workflow. Use Claude for ideation, copy, and edge-case generation. Use Google Stitch, v0, Cursor, or whatever else gets you to a working prototype faster. We are tool-agnostic and bias toward whatever ships better work faster

Who We Hire

We hire A players. Specifically:

• 5+ years designing products that shipped and got used at scale
• A portfolio that shows taste. We work in luxury. Your work has to belong there
• Impeccable product sense. You can look at a problem and know what to build, what to cut, and what to defer. You push back on bad asks instead of executing them
• Impeccable communication, written and verbal. You can explain a design decision in three sentences without losing the nuance. You can write the PRD if needed
• Fluency with AI design tools. You should already be using Claude, Stitch, or equivalents in your daily flow. If "AI-forward" sounds intimidating, this is not the role
• Comfort with ambiguity, speed, and ownership. Specs change Tuesday afternoon and ship Friday

Bonus

• Shipped commerce, chat, or AI-native products before
• Front-end skills (React, Tailwind) so you can prototype and push code
• Background or sensibility for luxury, beauty, or fashion brand work
• Visual identity and brand design chops

How we work We are an in person team. If remote, you must be in the PST time zone. We move fast and overlap matters. Tools: Figma, Claude, Google Stitch, Linear, Git Hub, Slack. Bring your own additions.
