Role Summary (Impact in this Role): Objective / Purpose of the Position
Fictiv is seeking a skilled Net Suite Senior Software engineer to join our team. As a Net Suite expert, you'll be part of the team responsible for the ongoing administration, optimization, and customization of our Net Suite ERP system to support business operations and drive efficiency across the organization. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of our Net Suite environment while developing customizations, integrations, and solutions to meet business requirements. This role combines technical expertise with business process knowledge to ensure our Net Suite implementation maximizes value and supports company growth.
Areas of Responsibility: Essential Functions
- Administer the Net Suite ERP system, managing user access, roles, permissions, and system configuration.
- Configure the Netsuite modules as per company’s requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve Net Suite-related issues reported by end users
- Maintain system documentation, including configurations, customizations, and standard operating procedures
- Implement and manage data integrity controls and security protocols
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements
- Work with the technical lead to design and develop solutions to enhance Net Suite functionality.
- Create and manage custom forms, fields, records, and workflows
- Develop and maintain custom reports, saved searches, and dashboards
- Lead Net Suite release testing and coordinate system upgrades
- Develop and support integrations between Net Suite and third-party applications
- Support data migration projects
- Manage the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
- Develop test plans before deploying to production
- Stay current with Net Suite features and functionality to recommend process improvements.
- Mentor software engineers on Net Suite development best practices and enhance their technical expertise.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions
- Create and maintain documentation for development guidelines
- Review code and provide constructive feedback to improve team capabilities

- Strong understanding of Net Suite ERP
- 6+ years of proven experience in designing, building and implementing solutions in Net Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of Net Suite modules such as GL, Order to Cash, Inventory, AP, AR, Billing, Purchasing, Revenue Recognition, Asset Management, and One World
- Proficiency in Net Suite configuration, customization, and scripting
- Knowledge of system integrations and data migration.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with Agile Software Development, Jira, Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with PLM systems like Arena preferred.
- Net Suite certifications, such as Suite Foundation, Administrator, or other relevant certifications, are a plus.
- Willing to learn new systems.
