**The Role** Ownpath Studios is looking for a Visual Designer – Merchandise to help create distinctive merchandise, apparel, and branded products for leading brands across automotive, mobility, sports, and lifestyle sectors. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys bringing brands to life beyond digital experiences. You'll work on everything from apparel graphics and teamwear to event merchandise, collectibles, accessories, and branded kits. We're looking for someone with a strong visual design foundation who also understands materials, fabrication methods, production processes, and how great merchandise is brought to life.

You will be instrumental in defining and driving product vision, mentoring junior designers, and ensuring design excellence delivers measurable business impact. ### Responsibilities **Product Strategy & Consulting** - Lead Discovery & Framing: Partner directly with clients to define the "what" and "why" of a product. Scope, frame, and articulate complex design challenges into clear, actionable project plans. - Synthesize & Visualize: Conduct and synthesize primary user research, market analysis, and business objectives to generate visionary product concepts and compelling narratives. **Design Craft & Leadership** - End-to-End Ownership: Take full ownership of the design lifecycle, delivering exceptional work from early wireframes and rapid prototypes to polished UI/UX systems ready for engineering handoff. - Design for Impact: Apply deep knowledge of consumer behavior, interaction design, and visual aesthetics to create intuitive, highly-engaging experiences that move key performance indicators (KPIs) like adoption, conversion, and retention. - Systemic Thinking: Establish, maintain, and contribute to reusable design systems to ensure consistency, accessibility, and speed across large-scale client projects. - Technical Collaboration: Act as the primary design liaison with engineering teams, providing clear specifications, validating feasibility, reviewing development output, and resolving implementation issues to ensure design intent is realised accurately. **Team & Studio Growth** - Mentorship: Act as a mentor and for project teams, providing constructive critique, guidance, and coaching to junior and mid-level designers. - Elevate Practice: Help evolve the Studio's internal practices, tools, and processes. Actively contribute to our culture of design excellence and continuous learning. - Thought Leadership: Contribute to content initiatives(breakdowns, articles, talks), and sharing project learnings with the team and for the broader design community.

We’re looking for a **Marketing Designer** who thrives at the intersection of **brand, storytelling, and visual clarity**, and who wants to work on meaningful projects for fast-growing companies. ### What You'll Work On You’ll primarily work on a **client project with an AI-based company**, helping define and execute their visual identity across marketing channels — from brand to web to lightweight product prototypes. You’ll also contribute to internal design initiatives at ownpath. **🔧 Key Responsibilities** **🧠 Brand & Visual Design** - Develop and refine brand systems including typography, color, motion, and layout - Design marketing collateral such as decks, case studies, social media assets, and event materials - Collaborate with copywriters and strategists to translate positioning into compelling visual narratives **🕸 Website Design** - Design responsive, high-conversion marketing websites using modern UI principles - Work with Framer or dev partners to ensure smooth implementation - Ensure consistency in visuals, components, and storytelling across the site **🧪 Product & Prototype Exploration** - Contribute to early-stage product exploration through landing pages, user flows, or interactive prototypes - Create visuals that communicate technical AI concepts in simple, elegant ways - Help bridge the gap between brand expression and product interface **🤝 Collaboration & Process** - Collaborate with founders, marketers, and engineers from client teams - Work in short, iterative cycles with feedback from stakeholders - Participate in internal design critiques and reviews at Ownpath ### ✅ What We're Looking For - 2+ years of experience in graphic design, marketing design, or visual brand design - A strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling, branding, and clean, modern UI work - Experience designing websites and marketing touchpoints end-to-end - Comfort with tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Framer (or a willingness to learn) - An eye for detail and a love for craft — type, spacing, layout, and motion - Curiosity about emerging tech — especially AI — and an eagerness to learn new domains - Bonus: experience with early-stage startups, brand building, or prototyping ### Benefits - Work with some of India’s most thoughtful designers and fast-growing tech companies - Take on high-ownership projects with support from senior designers and strategists - Learn from design leaders through our Academy and our design team (10+) - Collaborate directly with the founder and clients shaping the future of AI and product design - Be part of a mission-driven team focused on design quality, learning, and long-term impact
